I have a number of things to be lucky about, my two kids are a major part of that, but this is about one of them. My daughter. This is now the 3rd blog I have written on her birthday, next year, it will be her 18th, and I will try to bore her arse off with my advice for life just as I did for her brother when I started this site. Until then, I have the challenge of what to write, which I find really difficult because I really want to say the right thing, but also something useful and constructive that she appreciates.

Firstly, she can now learn to drive. So i think its important that she does this so she can drive me around. I would very much appreciate that, thank you.

Secondly, embrace who you are. The bits you like, and the bits you don't like. Play to your strengths (of which you have many) and play away from your weaknesses. Don't be afraid by your weaknesses, and don't be disheartened when a weakness seems to floor you, just ride with it and let it pass.

Focus on small victories and relish the trivial things that happen which make up each day. Life isn't about achievhing something massive and monumental each day, sometimes its about turning up even when you don't feel like it. Give yourself credit for that.

See the amazing things in you that I see. Your smile is the outward display of your loving and kind way. Anyone who comes in to contact with you gets a lift from this and you improve their day in some small way. Thats a gift that you take for granted.

Your humour is off the scale funny and clever which is also a gift. Laugh at the absurd. Laugh at yourself, don't take too much too seriously. Find the funny in things and make sure you watch endless repeats of comedy programs with your ole dad.

Don't be afraid of pushing yourself out of a comfort zone every now and then. All new situations will make you feel awkward or embarrassed. Everything does until it becomes normal.

Keep enjoing work.

Find the person you want to be and be that person, shut down any negative inner dialogue. If you're happy youre happy. If you're not make small tweaks and changes but don't be hard on yourself as change takes time and effort. But as long as you're patient, positive change does happen.

And don't ever forget Robert Robinson (now Salamander).

You're already good enough for you and for me, you're already my inspiration. Love you doh.
